A 1969 classic, vintage, Chickering Baby Grand Piano (model number 229382) is for sale at $10,000. Chickering & Sons founded in Boston in 1862 was awarded the HONNEUR ET PATRIE (Grand Cross insignia with the crown of Henry IV - shown at bottom right of photo) which is "the highest award given any piano manufactured in the world." This piano is being sold by the original owner. Piano was rarely played and served as a beautiful furniture and conversation piece. This piano was tuned and appraised on November 17, 2008 and still has the original parts. Additional photos available upon request. Original bench included with piano. The buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs.
